West Nonmainstream players’ Andre Russell hit a 13-ball 48 as Kolkata Knight Riders scored 53 in the last three overs to beat Regal Challengers Bangalore by five wickets in the Indian Chief Group.
His seventh six of every nine balls brought the scores level before Shubman Gill’s single run saw Kolkata achieve their 206 focus with five balls to save.
Russell stated: “One over changes and the energy changes.
“That is the reason I never surrender. When I am there, I know anything’s conceivable.”
Bangalore and India captain Virat Kohli, who scored 84 off 49 balls, included: “The last four overs, the manner in which we bowled, we have the right to lose.
“On the off chance that you bowl with insufficient courage in the crunch overs, at that point you will dependably battle against power-hitters like Russell.”
